Why Has Turkey Become the World’s Hair Transplant Capital?
Hair transplants in Turkey have become increasingly popular worldwide in recent years. About 1.4 million foreign patients were treated in Türkiye in 2025 across all specialties, according to USHAŞ figures, and hair transplantation is one of the most requested procedures. Turkey hair transplant clinics offer full packages that include transport, hotel, and the operation itself. This makes your treatment easier, especially for international patients.
Experienced Specialists
Turkey is a well developed country in health. Turkey hair transplant doctors have many years of training and experience. Many international patients feel comfortable with Turkish doctors because of their professional attitude and clear communication.
Short Waiting Time
In many countries, a hair transplant appointment may take a long waiting period, in Turkey you can make an appointment in a very short time. After online meeting, all your needs from airport transfer to hotel reservation are arranged.
Online Follow-Up
Before arriving in Türkiye for hair transplantation, detailed information is provided. After transplantation, the patient’s condition is followed online.
Multilingual Staff
Translators who will facilitate your communication in languages such as English, German, French, Spanish and Arabic will allow you to express yourself completely comfortably.
Cultural Tourism
Turkey is one of the most visited countries in the world, with more than 50 million visitors annually. Discover Istanbul after the Turkey hair transplantation, enjoy the beaches in Antalya, and have a magical trip to Pamukkale and Cappadocia.
Affordable Cost
Hair transplant costs in Turkey are significantly lower than in the United States and much of Europe.
Turkish clinics often build their services into full packages with airport pickup, hotel booking, follow up care, translation and more.
Clinics in Türkiye that treat international patients need a health tourism authorization from the Ministry of Health. Some hospitals also hold Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation, and some doctors are members of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS).

Prices at a Glance: Turkey vs the UK and US
Most clinics in Turkey quote one fixed, all-inclusive price that covers the procedure plus hotel nights, transfers and aftercare, rather than a bare medical bill with extras charged later. Here is how typical prices compare with the UK and the US.
Country | Typical Cost | Hotel Included? | Transfers Included? | Saving in Turkey† |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Turkey | $2,020 – $3,590 | ✓ | ✓ | — |
Spain | ~$3,360 for 2,000 grafts | ✗ | ✗ | ~20% |

Entry packages in Turkey cost well below UK and US averages, while premium, doctor-led tiers can approach or exceed the UK average. In Spain and Dubai, typical prices are much closer to Turkey’s. What’s Actually Inside the Price
✓ Not every clinic structures its price the same way. Some quote an all-inclusive rate that genuinely covers the procedure, hotel nights, transfers, an interpreter and the aftercare kit, with only flights left out.
✓ Others list hotel upgrades, an extra night or a second follow-up visit as separate items, so it helps to compare what each package covers.
✓ A genuine all-inclusive quote should state clearly, in writing, exactly which nights, transfers, and services are covered before you commit to a deposit.
So, What Will You Actually Pay?
If you have been getting very different numbers from different sources, that’s normal. The price depends mostly on the clinic’s tier and how many grafts your case needs, not on a single industry rate.
As a working range, entry all-inclusive packages at established clinics start between $2,020 and $3,590 (€1,800–€3,200), while premium, doctor-led tiers run up to about $9,000 (€8,000). Whatever the tier, ask the clinic to confirm every line item in writing before you pay a deposit.
What Is Usually Included
Package contents vary between clinics, so it’s worth knowing what is usually standard and what differs.
Most Istanbul clinic packages bundle the procedure fee, 2–4 nights in a partner hotel, return airport-to-hotel-to-clinic transfers by private car, an interpreter or patient coordinator for the day of surgery, and a take-home aftercare kit covering shampoo, lotion, and any prescribed medication. What’s commonly excluded: international flights, any nights beyond the package’s stated minimum, meals outside breakfast (if even that’s included), travel insurance, and city transport for sightseeing.
A small number of premium packages do bundle flights from specific departure cities and these are worth flagging separately since “turkey hair transplant package with flight” pricing tends to run noticeably higher than the procedure only equivalent.
Choose Your Turkish City

Istanbul Hair Transplant
Most of the clinics in our directory are in Istanbul, on both the European and Asian sides of the city. Published entry packages at Ministry-authorized clinics here run from $2,020 to $3,590 (€1,800–€3,200). Read our Istanbul hair transplant guide.

Ankara Hair Transplant
Türkiye’s capital is a less common choice for international patients than Istanbul. Private hospitals and clinics there offer hair transplants, but we do not list any of them yet, so compare written quotes. The city is quieter, with less tourist infrastructure for your recovery days.

Antalya Hair Transplant
Antalya, a major holiday destination on Turkey’s Mediterranean coast, also has hair transplant clinics, and some patients choose it to combine the procedure with a stay by the sea. The city has a well-established tourism infrastructure, and some clinics there serve international patients from Europe and the Gulf.

Izmir Hair Transplant
Turkey’s third-largest city sits on the Aegean coast and offers a relaxed, sunny recovery environment. İzmir has a growing medical tourism sector with several well-regarded hair transplant clinics, and its proximity to holiday destinations like Çeşme and Bodrum makes it an attractive choice for patients who want to combine their procedure with a coastal break.
